Just updated the blog going back to May 18th, and because I’m OCD about this sort of thing, I changed the timestamps so they reflect when I actually wrote the entries. Been up early because of jetlag. Will probably rest a lot this weekend, catch up on Bleach and Naruto, and hopefully get in some tennis and soccer before work starts next week.
It’s funny how it works: when you’re at school, you look forward to break, but when you’re at home for an extended period of time, you’re always itching to get back to campus. Although classes are only just starting up, I’ve been keeping myself busy with revamping the Lambda website, which I finished yesterday. Now I just have to fix some cross-browser compatibility issues with IE and Chrome. I also managed to reread The Da Vinci Code at home before break ended, and I was thinking about bringing The Count of Monte Cristo, but I decided against it because I figured it was way too long; once I start it, I would be very tempted to finish it within a couple days, and seeing as I have 9 o’clock class everyday, I need to get enough sleep on the weekdays.
I also got my guitar back from Peng a few days ago, and I’ve been doing some light practicing. I half expected by fingers to get calloused again, but so far, there haven’t been any signs of damage…let’s hope it stays that way. David and I have are also re-watching Death Note. We’ve got about 10 episodes left (and IMO past the best part), but overall, the anime is still one of my all-time favorites.
We’re waking up early and making the drive down to Florida tomorrow. We’re traveling with another family, and stopping at some hotel in NC along the way before making it to Ft. Lauderdale on Saturday. I haven’t been on a long road trip for a while, and this time around, I may be doing some of the driving. I don’t think I’ll be lugging my computer along, so no blogging for a week 
But I’ll be sure to write when I get back: it’s going to be an amazing experience, and I can hardly wait!
I’ve also gotten through 30 episodes of FMA: Brotherhood (yeah when I get into a anime-watching spree, I can’t stop), and I might have to start a new show when I get back, since I would be caught up on the series already. Maybe I’ll start watching 24 again, or Dexter, which I’ve heard is very good. Also, new episode of Leverage comes out the day we get back to school, so I’m excited for that as well.
Anyway, I’ll be offline until January 3rd. Until then, Merry Christmas, and best wishes to everyone for the New Year!
